Hi Thomas,

Are you using client compression?
If you are this is normal, and you won't see anything better on the tapes.
You must remember that ADSM uses the same algorithm to compress
the data as what your 3570 uses. The ADSM server measures the number of
bytes that the drive can SUCK in, and reports this as the actual figure that
went
to the drive. If your data is not compressed, the tape drive can SUCK in a
lot more data
and ADSM then reports this.

Hope this helps - If you really want to see better figures turn off
compression on the
clients side. (If your network can handle the load...).
