     I think I already sent a message back to this effect earlier today,
but we applied UQ11864
yesterday.  We tested a scheduled backup yesterday afternoon with the same
results; the TCPIP
connection dropped and the backup failed.  I have submitted traces of both
the server and client
to IBM, so I'll keep you posted on the outcome.  At this point, I'm ready
to recommend to my
management that the TCPIP maintenance be backed off.  We are only failing
NT backups at
this point, but we are missing service level agreements for every day this
goes on.
