I am unfamiliar with 'proxy' Netware servers, but we backup multiple Netware 
3.12 servers through 1 main Netware 3.12 server with the ADSM client only on it.

All you need on the 'slave' Netware servers is a NLM running called TSA312.NLM.

I believe this is outlined in the Netware client manual.
