I have also seen Doctor Watson on NT 4.0 running V3.  I usually get
     it while using the GUI to delete a client from a schedule.

     I also know that there is a problem in the DSMSCHED.LOG in the NT
     V3 client.  It doesn't list the files that are being backed up.  It
     only lists errors and the total lines.  It also appears that the
     total lines are for all drives on that client.  You don't get to
     see individual statistics for each drive.

     IBM is looking into this.

I have had problems with the V3.1.1 NT backup/archive GUI also. PMR79571.
As you say the Dr. Watson error doesn't happen all the time.
