On our IBM SP/2 we are running several ORACLE databases (7.3.3). We would
like to backup them with Oracle's Enterprise Backup Utility (Oracle7
Enterprise Backup Utility Tool: Release 2.1.0.1.2) and ADSM
Connect Agent for Oracle (adsm Version 2, Release 1,
Level 0.6).
We have the following problem :
When we backup our database the OBACKUP jobs indicates BACKUP job SUCCESSFUL.
When the EBUTOOL is used to interrogate the EBU database the reports
indicates :
BACKUP ONLINE DATABASE performed
by oracle
Started at: 16-DEC-97 12:15
Ended at: 16-DEC-97 12:25
Runtime: 11 minutes
Job Outcome: SUCCESSFUL
WARNING, BFS 3271882270955 has been removed from Media
WARNING, BFS 3272882270955 has been removed from Media
WARNING, BFS 3273882270955 has been removed from Media
WARNING, BFS 3274882270955 has been removed from Media
So restoring the database becomes impossible
When the tape is investigated with Q CONT DMO102
the files are appearing in the list.
Has anyone had the same problem or has anyone a idea about the origin
of the problem.
