Your question confuses me.
I run a DSMC SCHEDULE on an NT box that is backed up by ADSM on AIX.
I have a NIGHTLY schedule for incremental backups, and a MONTHLY schedule
for generating an archive for retaining for a full year. I have this
single node defined (Associated) with each schedule. The defining of two
node IDs with a single machine, and using two different option files with
the backup is possible, but it does use up an extra license.
     Hope this helps

I have a node that has 10.4 gig on it 4 different volumes. I would like to
have two schedules, each accessing two of the volumes, to connect to the
node. This can't be done because the two schedules can't run on the same
node. Is it possible to have two option files, each with a different node
name running on the same node?

TIA
