Hi!

Environment: SP2, AIX 4.1.5, Enhenced ADSM 2.1.5.9, 2 TIMBERLINE attached
to a SILO (grrrr!@#%!)


Yesterday we tried to define 2 tape drives which are 3480 compatible just
like the TIMBERLINEs are ....

but ADSM would not use them ...

Actually we tried to define them using smitty, adsm_devices, add tape drive

and it allways said tape already defined at that adress or something like
that.



And ADSM would not let us define drive on those devices ????


What are we doing wrong???

What would you do?
