A follow up question - With the V3 clients, the "restore by subdirectory
path" goes away, replaced by the new support for the "directory tree". How
does this effect the restoration of permissions?

Restoring a directory on NT using the "Restore by directory tree" or "Restore
by file specification" GUI function will not restore NT permissions. Using the
"Restore subdirectory branch" GUI function *will* restore NT permissions.

It is my understanding that restoring a directory on NT using the GUI will not
restore NT permissions. Therefore, the restored directory does not have the
same permissions as the original directory, and it will be backed up as
changed. Can someone else verify this?
