The ADSM NT client uses the windows socket (winsock) API. As the common
version of this API only supports TCP/IP, that's what is supported by
ADSM, too. The 3270 method is really slooow, so probably the developers
didn't think it is worth investing energy into implementing this method
for the NT platform.
