The answer is a definite maybe.

It does back up vxfs, however, it requires that you manually
add the domain statements to the dsm.opt file, as it does not
recognize vxfs as a local system.

Does anyone know if V3 fixes this? I have it scripted now,
and it isn't all that pretty.
