The ADSM NT Scheduler service by default is installed to run under
the local system account.
You can determine which account a particular service logs on as by
using the Services Control Panel applet (Services icon under Control
Panel group).
Clicking the "Startup..." button from this applet will bring up
a dialog which includes a section with the title "Log on As",
which will indicate what account the service is started from.
Any drive mappings or other account specific startup actions will
not be performed when the Local System account logs so you may
want to consider having the service log on as a different user.
Note that the use that logs on the service must have the appropriate
user rights to run ADSM (preferably a member of Administrators or
Domain Administrators).
Also note that the local system account has no domain authority so
any attempt to access domain resources from a service started by this
account will probably fail.
Hope this helps ....
