Yes you can do this.

Create separate storage pools for the machines that you want to keep
separate.  You will then also create a copy storage pool for the primary
pools.

We set it up so that every machine has its own storage pools and that
way we could take the tapes just for that machine to a disaster test if
we wanted to and not all of them.
