The ADSM V3.1 announcement letters should be available from the ADSM home page
(http://www.storage.ibm.com/adsm), and have been since October 7. I found them
this way:

Click on "ADSM for Windows NT, AIX, and MVS Version 3.1 announced October 7!"
(located near the top of the page).

*Either* scroll down a page or two and look for "Version 3.1 details", *or*
click on "Details about Version 3.1" (both actions get you to the same place).

Click on "United States (in English)" (or other language, if desired).

You should find the announcement letters listed. The English language letter
numbers are 297-411 (AIX), 297-412 (NT) and 297-414 (MVS).

I found the ADSM V3.1 Announcement letters at the IBM website.
They are not linked in the ADSM homepage, they are not found via
the search engine on the homepage and they are basically not
very easy to find.

Try the following:

  www.ibm.com/News

  In the "News archive" section, click "IBM U.S. announcement letters"

  The three letters are buried at the top (as of 9 October) of the
    Software section of the "U.S. Announcements" page that is returned


They have postscript and PDF formats (YES!!!) and are quite useful
once found.  Unfortunately, not without some searching.
