It a 4 drive 3590 system.. 2 drives per wide node. This a real new install
of ADSM on AIX 4.2.. Is there any fine tuning that need to be done to
increase performance of the system.. Most everything we are doing is small
file backup.

Jim - which magstar? the 3590 or the 3575? We had a 3590 on a 77MHz wide
node that we could drive at 20 GB per hour fairly consistently -- all
traffic coming from another node via the switch.
