Hum... I think you have to learn to walk before you can run :)
There are many people in the list who can help you to set-up your
backup/archive policy, *but*, without you knowing exactly *what* you're
doing and *why* you're doing it, you'll be having some troubles.

My advice to you is: read the manuals, "play" with ADSM for a while, try to
understand the particulars of ADSM, or better yet, take an ADSM training.

Anyway,

Migration target (defined at Management Class level) is for HSM only. You'll
have to setup backup and/or archive target pools at the Copy Group level.
Also, make sure you understand the diferences between backup and archive.

In order to have a node (client) use a certain Management Class you have to
associate it whith the policy domain to wich the MGMTclass belongs to. Also,
you have to ACTIVATE any changes made to a POLICY SET. If using a schedule
you also have to associate the node with the schedule.

Yes. Take care, though, include/exclude files refer to both archive and
backup. Unfortunatly. In order to do what you want to do, you can override
the incl/excl file, unless you *also* want to backup those files to the same
mgmtclass.

Are you talking about backup or archiving, anyway?
