I did follow the instructions in the ADSM redbook. All the environment
variables that were set up prior to doing a obackup are:
export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/oracle/product/7.3.2
export ORACLE_SID=play1
export OBK_HOME=$ORACLE_HOME/obackup
export DSMI_CONFIG=/usr/lpp/adsm/bin/dsm.opt
export DSMI_DIR=/usr/lpp/adsm/bin
export DSMI_LOG=/var/adsm
export DSMO_PSWDPATH=/var/adsm
export DSMO_AVG_SIZE=2097152
Do I need to set up the environment variables for DSMO_NODE, DSMO_OWNER,
DSMO_FS ?
The reason why I am using ptf 5 of the client is because one of our
clients is actually using ptf 5.
Thanks,
