Based on my experience, it seems to be the drives.  I have a customer with six 
Q47s.  The robots seem fine, but they have had a ton of tape problems.  I have 
another customer with a Q7 and I have a Q215.  The Q7, knock on wood, has never 
burped.  I've had to replace a drive in my Q215, but it was a DLT2000 (old, 
reliable stuff mostly).

I think hang in there with the robots, but we've gotta question the drives.
