Hi Tim,

I have not had the chance to test the 3570 yet, but others on the
list have and they are very satisfied with the performance/reliability
of the drive.
The DLT7000 on the other hand I have tested last year and with
using the Unix Tar utility backed up a lot of files and when trying
to restore it would get stuck at a certain point and not be able
to recover past that point - not good if you consider the size of
data going to this drive! I have recently heard that there is some
problems with the hardware running a bit hot.
I've used the DLT4000 without any problems to a large extent.

Hope this helps, and I'm sure others on the list will confirm
my views regarding the DLT7000 (Maybe by now it has been
sorted out).
