John,

     Maybe your problem is DNS related. Try using an explicit IP address
     for the TCPServeraddress. Before that try pinging both the server and
     client (I'm sure you already did this).

Hello folks,

Has anyone out there worked with the SCO unix backup client?  I attempt
to load DSMC but get TCP/IP failure.  I have specified the following in my
DSM.SYS:
Servername
TCPPort
TCPServeraddress

I have also registered a client.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
