Dear ADSM compatriots,

     We had an interesting scenario. On of our server hung during the
     evening while all our scheduled backups are running. When I checked
     the activity log I noticed sessions for these clients starting but
     not finishing.

     The clients never rescheduled themselves and we missed backups for 2
     days. We are going to stop and start the clients and hopefully this
     will clear up the problem.

     Has anyone seen this before. I would think a time out of a session
     would correct this issue. Our COMMtimeout is 1,000 and our IDLEtimeout
     is 60.

     I think IBM should address this issue.
