                I am using the ARCTVEXT provided by CA-1. It is the same
exit that is used for HSM. I don't know what release of CA1 your on ----
we are on 5.1 ---, but any release higher than 4.8 has the exit shipped with
the product.   With the ARCTVEXT
provided by CA1 you must also use the External data manager feature (EDM)
and the
TMOEDM00 parm ours looks like:
EDM=HSM,DSN=SYSHSM.-,PGM=ARCCTL
EDM=HSM,DSN=SYSHSM.-,PGM=ARCCTL
EDM=ADSM,DSN=ADSM.-,PGM=*
EDM=ADSM,DSN=ADSMRMT.-,PGM=*

     This information is documented in the CA-1 Systems Programmer Guide. I
also am responsible for the installation & maintenance of all CA products at
this installation.

    Hopes this helps.

Is any one successfully using a tape deletion Installation-wide exit
 with
CA-1 TMS to have TMS scratch a tape when ADSM is done using it?
