Hi there,

we have defined RAW devices for the ADSM/6000 DB and LOG.
With SMON we found out that our 8 way RS/6000 was
in state Wait I/O for nearly 750 %. The only activity
we see, is the I/O activity on the DB and LOG disks.
This happens, when we execute Expirery, Copy Tapepool,
migrations, ...
Perhaps its much more better with DB and LOGS on JFS filesystems.
