Your ADSM files will have no problems going to the model 3's.
What data mover do you use on MVS?  This would be the only problem that you
would have.
Most all MVS data mover will move like device type (3390-3390) with no
problem.

Subject:  ADSM on MVS 3390's




I'm getting ready for an offsite disaster recovery test in July. We
have ADSM on MVS, on 3390 Mod 2 DASD.  I was told that the volumes
available at the hot site are 3390 Mod 3's.  This isn't going to cause
me any trouble when I do the database recovery to the Mod 3's, is it?
