The only thing you'll do is possibly reduce the number of tape mounts.
Unless this is the first backup stgpool, normally the files expired
off have already been backed up to the copy pool. The reclamation
process, both for primary and copy pools, will try to maximize the
number of scratch tapes available.

What's the best way to force a reclamation process on
sequentional primary storage pool volumes?
By performing an EXPIRE INVENTORY and forcing a reclamation
prior to a BACKUP STGPOOL, would this save time and tape
volumes in the target copy pool? Or, would this be a waste of
time?
