TO: Peter Thomas and anyone else using DLT 7000s

We have an STK 9710 tape library with 5 DLT 7000 drives attached to
a Sun 4000E server.  When we performance tested ADSM we used DLT 4000
drives and an RS/6000 server.  During storage pool migration we were
getting 4 GB/hr per drive.  DLT 7000 drives were anticipated to run
at 12-18 GB/hr. We have not exceeded the 4 GB/hr....

What numbers are you all seeing?
Are there settings to be tuned?

These are our current settings.
