Hi Bruce,

Lookup the command DELETE VOLHISTORY  TODATE=-nnn TYPE=DBBACKUP
option.  This will allow you to delete DB backups over nnn days old.

     Anybody know how to set the max number of database backup generations
     ADSM keeps?  I can't find anything in the Admin manual pointing to any
     command or option like the ones for copygroup.

     Our OPs manager informed me we've got a "substantial" pile of database
     backup tapes, all on permanent retention. He says if it gets any
     higher and we have a small earthquake, not even the Red Cross dogs
     will find his body.  I offered to tape the event for "America's
     Funniest Videos". But for some odd reason he failed to see the humor.
