I understand the passwordaccess generate to apply only to the DSMC
SCHEDULE so that you can start the backup client via your startup menu
each time you boot automatically without keying any input. This does
     work. erl

I just installed the Win32 bit client at PTF 6 on Win95.
My dsm.opt specifies PASSWORDACCESS GENERATE.

I can see no difference in the way PTF 6 code handles passwords.

I get prompted for a password when I start the GUI interface, and it
still does not appear to update the registry when I change the password
via the GUI.

Is this the way it is supposed to work, or did my install get hosed?
Do we still have to teach our users to change the password in 2 places?
