I don't think that the DB volume backups can be marked offsite. The
would have to be in a storage pool for that.
To reclaim the tapes after 7 days I would add an admin schedule that
executed the following command: del volhist todate=-6 type=dbbackup
this will delete the volumes and return them to scratch.
