SUBJECT: Windows NT as a client
Hello Rafael,
the information is true. The ADSM client for Windows NT must start
with admin rights on the machine. You couldn't do an incremental backup
without these rights. Only if you write "backupreg no" into the
dsm.opt file you can do backups with a normal user, but then without
a backup of the registry.
One other way is to start the backup via the scheduler, running as a
system service. In this case you can backup everything.
Hope this helps you.
Best regards / mit freundlichem Gruss
B. FRIESS
