Question about making DSMADMC use different options files:

I can think of two ways to do this:

1) Create DSM.OPT files in different directories for each of the servers
you want to manage, i.e. SERVERA\DSM.OPT, SERVERB\DSM.OPT, etc. Then create
short-cuts for each server you want to manage. The executable should be
C:\WIN32APP\IBM\ADSM\SACLIENT\DSMADMC.EXE (or whatever fully-qualified
drive/directory you are using). Then open up each short-cut's properties.
The "Target" field should indicate the executable. Change the "Start in"
field to point to the directory that contains the DSM.OPT file for that
server whose short-cut this is. Repeat for each short-cut.

2) For the most part, most of the options in DSM.OPT are likely to be the
same for the admin client, except perhaps for TCPPORT, TCPSERVERADDRESS, and
any other communications options that may differ between servers. So you can
create a short-cut, and when specifing the command to run, enter something
like C:\WIN32APP\IBM\ADSM\SACLIENT\DSMADMC.EXE -TCPPORT=pppp
-TCPSERVERADDRESS=ip.address, etc.
