ADSM is ADSM is ADSM so where I've not done this in on either of our
     MVS servers I have done it on our AIX servers...

     Create the new log file
     Define the new log file in adsm
     Create the new log copy file
     Define the new log copy file in adsm

     DO NOT EXTEND THE LOG !

     (Now if you have enough new space to hold the old...)
     Delete the old log copy file
     Delete the old log file
     (adsm will move the data from the old to the new)

     You don't even have to shut down adsm...

     I haven't had a problem yet doing it this way...
