I am running ADSM/6000 and have just implemented the HSM function as
well.
It seems to be working ok... when I query the "# file migrated"
 "amount of pre-migrated"
etc and in fact my file system utilization is being decreased to the
number specified.
My question is - is there a log file or activity log or error log that
HSM uses so I can check
on progress or check on the previous days activity ?? I am looking for
something like
dsmsched.log or actlog in regular ADSM but for the HSM functions so I
can have a
warm fuzzy that all is well.

And one more thing... now when I do a "df -k" command, I see the HSM
managed filesystem listed twice... Is this normal ??? It's the same
info, twice.
.....
# df -k
Filesystem 1024-blocks Free %Used Iused %Iused Mounted on
........ other filesystems listed here.........
//dev/lv02        22872064   2061840   91%    38418     1% /vet1
/dev/lv03 2097152 591116 72% 22 1% /adsm1
/dev/lv04 3014656 664972 78% 19 1% /adsm2
/dev/lv05 2293760 2147060 7% 9874 2% /hsmtest \
 these two twice....
/hsmtest 2293760 2147060 7% 9874 2% /hsmtest /

Thanks.
