Hello!
I am running dsmserv under Solaris 2.5, and dsmc under Solaris 2.5.
I have set up a schedule:

Domain * Schedule Name Action Start Date/Time Duration Period Day
------------ - ---------------- ------ -------------------- -------- ------ ---
STANDARD SCH1 Inc Bk 12/17/1996 12:40:00 3 M 1 D Any
STANDARD SCH1 Inc Bk 12/17/1996 12:40:00 3 M 1 D Any

associated it with a client:

Policy Domain Name: STANDARD
     Schedule Name: SCH1
  Associated Nodes: CLIENT

and the client appears to recognize it:

dsmc> query schedule
    Schedule Name: SCH1
      Description:
           Action: Incremental
          Options:
          Objects:
         Priority: 1
   Next Execution: 2 Minutes
         Duration: 3 Minutes
           Period: 1 Day
      Day of Week: Any
           Expire: Never

However, the incremental never begins:

Scheduled Start Actual Start Schedule Name Node Name Status
-------------------- -------------------- ------------- ------------- ---------
12/17/1996 12:40:00 SCH1 CLIENT Missed
12/17/1996 12:40:00 SCH1 CLIENT Missed

What step have I forgotten in the process? The status goes from Future,
to Pending, during the 3 Minute window, then Finally to Missed.
I have experimented with the different scheduling modes Polling, Prompted,
and Any. Typing 'Incremental' from dsmc _does_ work.

If anyone can help me, thank you very much,
                                                Noah T. Vawter
