We have had this problem on 2 Magstar tapes.  In both cases, the tapes were
removed from the silo and ADSM.  These tapes will be sent back to the vendor
for replacement, since they are still under warrenty.  I was told by both
IBM and the tape vendor that this is the best way to handle the lost VCR
problem.
