Yes. We have had good experience with Notes servers - we have nearly
200 under ADSM/2 - through R3.3. With Notes R4 we have begun to experience
problems, mostly with Notes itself.

Notes R4.0 API was broken and, hence, ADSM Notes agent was as well.

We have been employing Notes NAB program documents to manage ADSM/2
Notes agent schedules. Through Notes R3.x this worked flawlessly.
Since upgrading to Notes R4.1 program documents have executed less
reliably. We are investigating the cause - through contacts with
Lotus - and other, more reliable scheduling. We have requested
upgrade of our ADSM/2 servers to V2.1 (from V1.2.9), which would
allow us to use the ADSM scheduler for programs like the Notes
agent - this will probably be our eventual solution, though the
NAB program documents have been handy.

The backup granularity is to the document level. The Notes agent
recognizes any change to a document and backs that document up
again.

ADSM treats documents backed up by the Notes agent in the same way it
treats files backed up by the ADSM client, except that there is no
way to reliably identify documents within the database. Backed up
documents are recorded by the Notes internal document identification
number - which is of little use to mere mortals.
