Hi,

Yesterday I asked a few questions concerning autochangers and received
several replies (hope to see the ADSM developpers' answers concerning
devices real soon now).

One of the ppl. who answered me directly said (I am not mentioning his
name as it was sent as private mail, not on the list):

"only select a unit  from those having two (or more) drives.
few functions - all of them tape2tape - in ADSM will work only if you
have two drives (at least) in the library...."

How important, are these "tape2tape" operations in ADSM ? How frequent are
they used ? Any examples ? What if I don't have at least 2 drives - any
way to overcome the problem ? (Please remember that we are, a rather small
site - just our department, around 20-30 GB this year in less than 20 clients)
