We are trying to use ADSM API for our application.  The test showed this 
message "ANS4245E
format unknown", this is during the backup or archive query.  I have not tested 
the backup
or archive functions yet.

Did any body got this message.

The tests were conducted using the root user id. Both the AIX and Solaris 
platforms were
tried.  The Solaris version is more recent: V2R1L0.4 of the API and V2R1L0.3 of 
the Sun
Solaris client (Fix IP20809).  The ADSM server is in MVS with V2R1L0.7.
