Has anyone seen this problem?
We have some users here with Windows95 systems running ADSM 2.1.0.3 who
are having problems running the scheduler (dsmc schedule). The symptoms
are that when the scheduler is started up, the following error message
comes out:
AMS4017E Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure
Will attempt to get schedule from server again in 30 minutes
Thirty minutes later, the connection is made and the schedule is downloaded
from the server. However, and this is the strange part, the scheduled
backup never starts. For the time period that the backup is supposed to
start, there are no messages in the schedule log, the error log, or the
activity log. Nothing. It just doesn't run.
If you start a backup manually, during the day, it runs just fine.
It works fine on other user's systems, running the same client code and
the same level of Win95+fixes.
