Hi ADSMers,
I am in the process of implementing ADSM Copy Storage Pools, but I have
come across a dilemma. My copy pool devices aren't large enough to contain
all the data from a single automated library which has one large storage pool
mapped to it.
So I have divided the automated library into smaller storage pools such
that I can do a BACKUP STG on each of the smaller storage pools.
My question is, short of doing many MOVE DATA commands to get volumes
from one storage pool to the other within the same library, is there a
shortcut that I can use to tell ADSM, that a volume is now associated with
a different storage pool? The UPDATE VOLUME command doesn't let you do this.

Thanks,
Norm Russell
