The number of pages backed up can vary widely. During normal client
backups, a triggered backup will dump 32k pages, but during expire
inventory, it sometimes backs up 100+k pages.

Hello,
We have a 4 GB recovery log set to trigger backups at 75%. [System is
AIX 4.1.4 and ADSM 2.1.5.10.]
I am a bit puzzled by ADSM reporting to the activity log that it has
backed up 201,460 pages (page size is 4KB) when an incremental backup
was triggered. Q LOG shows the total usable pages as being 1,046,016
i.e. 4GB. At a 75% trigger, I imagined that ADSM would report about
750,000 pages backed up.
Am I misunderstanding something here?
Thanks a lot. Regards, Sheelagh
