You might want to upgrade to Command Line Backup Client Interface - Version 2,
Release 1, Level 0.5 if possible.  IBM has a separate PTF (IP20880) for
Solaris 2.5 clients at Level 0.5.  Our 2.3 and 2.4 clients use PTF IP20848.
