problem with backup

I am new administrator. I have a problem in using Adstar in Unix
machine.  We just migrated Adstar server from IBM mainframe to Unix
with AIX v4.1.4. We backuped  four nodes everynight in last 4 weeks.
But from last week, backup did not work any more. the error is space
full. and it seems  no any migration from disk to tape happend.

Any clues will be helpful.
