I've done this.  Just add some database volumes on the 3390s and then delete 
the database volumes on the 3380s.  The database info will be moved from the 
3380 database volumes to the 3390 database volumes.  You also might need to 
extend the database first.  If you do, you would have to reduce it after you 
removed the 3380 volumes.
