A few days ago, our MVS V2 server started giving the following message =
for several volumes:

ANR1400W Mount request denied for volume xxxx -  mount canceled.

According to the messages manual the reason for this is:

The volume show cannot be mounted because the mount request has been =
canceled.

My question is whether anyone else has seen this message before and who =
or what might be canceling the request (and why).  In some cases the =
volumes are the same, but in others the volumes mentioned one day are =
not the same as those mentioned on another day.  I did a q v f=3Dd for =
the volumes in question and they did not show any errors.  Is there =
something else about the volume that could be causing this.  Thanks for =
any insight or pointers you can provide.
