If you have your clients set to prompted then when needed you can
create a one time client schedule on the server to perform the
restore/retrieve... You can carry this as far as writing a shell script
that you just pass the node & dataset name to and it can build the
schedule. later

We are using ADSM to back up Novell, Windows NT Servers and UNIX. For restoring
UNIX files, I can have an Xsession with the client machine, For Novell, we have
to use the syscon program for administration, but for NT, we have to walk to
the machine and make the restores. I think it is the same to Warp Server.
Is there anything planned to restore ADSM files on my NT Server from my
administrator's desk for NT or solve this problem of remote administration in
general ? I can imagine a GUI running on Windows or OS/2 on my desk with
connection to the scheduler on the affected client machines.
