This is a know problem with the interactive command line scheduler
on 32-Bit Windows (Win 95 or NT) running in polling mode (pressing
the alt key will suspend the process until another key is pressed).

After further investigation I've determined that this behavior has to
do with some problems with some of the Borland 4.x C runtime library
console i/o functions.

These problems have apparantly been fixed in Borland 5 because the
problem with the alt key suspending the countdown timer went away
when I built the client with the latest level of the compiler.

In any case, the problem will definitly be fixed in PTF 6.

Also note that other problems having to due with prompted mode
scheduling on Windows 95 only (always worked on NT) have been
fixed in PTF 5.
