We have a Power Mac user trying to use ADSM Client Version: 2.1.0.4 on a
Power PC 7500 Mac with an OS of 7.5.3.  They can logon to our ADSM server
(VM version 1) and do inquiries and change their password, but they cannot
Backup/Archive or Retrieve files to/from the server.  When they attempt to
perform one of these functions they receive an TCP/IP failure and the client
locks up.  We tried installing PTF IP20744, since it appears to be an Open
Transport 1.1 problem, but it didn't help.

Has anyone else run into this problem or know of a workaround that could
be use.
