Yes it does explain the problem and I think you are correct. I don't believe
that
ADSM will restore the permissions on a directory level. I never thought much
about
where this type of permission is stored in HPFS386. There still is a NET.ACC
but I
do not think it is stored there. It is probably stored in the extended
attributes of
the directory object itself.
Excellent question, too bad I can't solve it. :-)
