Eric,

There are several redbooks (Getting Started with ADSM/2 #GG24-4321-00)
and ADSM for OS/2 Advanced Topics #SG24-4740-00) available on the
subject. I would reccommend them as very useful, although it makes me
mad to pay for them.

What do you want to know about the subject?

In general ADSM works well with LAN Server and provides complete backup
and archive services including extended attributes and ACL's if you are
using HPFS386. The catch is getting it installed and configured, which
is absurdly difficult.

I would hesitate to purchase an ADSM OS/2 server now because of the
lack of development emphasis being placed on the product. There are
several other good back up products specifically geared towards
supporting LAN Server.
