I am using the ADSM API to store data locally and at a remote site. I have
specified two
servers in the dsm.sys system configuration file and select the required
server using
an options list. For example,
dsm.sys
^^^^^^^^^
SErvername ADSM
<TCP connect stuff...>
SErvername ADSM_REMOTE
<TCP connect stuff...>
Options list
^^^^^^^^^^^^
-servername=ADSM
When the system configuration file is processed by dsmInit, I get an error:
ANS4042S Invalid option 'ADSM' found in options file 'dsm.sys'
Invalid entry : 'SErvername ADSM'
All I have done is modified the supplied configuration file. After a quick
test,
I noticed that the supplied configuration file fails too!
I am using ADSM API V2.1, under AIX 4.1.
Has the format of the configuration file changed?
TIA
Richard.
